Camping for Families

Camp C is a paradise for people looking camping for families. It’s near to Thaursai village and close to the lake. Guest can feel safe even on the weekdays when there is less crowd. This place is completely safe in the rain as there is a big shade to accommodate tents. Two on-site families are there on the campsite as a caretaker, who looks after all your needs. This camp falls in the regular camping category. Guests are more satisfied with the service and location than the facilities. This one is the only ATDC Maharashtra-approved campsite in Pawna lake camping.

Transportation is not included in the price. You can bring your own vehicle for a fun ride or you can hire a private cab from Lonavala or Kamshet to Thakursai which will cost you around 1000 rupees on one side. The sharing cab may not be possible every time. In addition, we will guide you on call for transportation once you book.

There should be something for small kids like small garden, swing, seesaw, slides etc.

We went to Pawna Camp Campside C on last weekend, our overall experience was good, Caretake family was really helpfull, thought we suffered a lot in night because i was having my 1 year old baby with me, somehow she slept some other people next our camp started shouting, they all were drunk, Nobody took any action against them, Somehow sun arise and we started enjoying the view of. campsite.

The camp site D is very close to the lake and has very scenic view. The site representatives are polite and friendly. The problem was that there was no enough lightings to have an ambience. The speaker used for music used on trip when we tried increase the volume which spoiled the fun. Food and other things were good enough. The tent were small an d a tall person would find it little uncomfortable to spread legs. Get your own booze and other snacks as the booze costs double the price. The site could also add some fun activities as it is hard to pass time if you don’t carry cards or are not with a huge group. Over all experience was good and a nice place for a weekend getaway.
