I went with my wife for Pawana camping. We were shifted to Camp-G due to some issue with camp-H. Being an enthusiastic camper I would like to give a detailed review:

I will first start with areas of improvement for organizers:
    – The camp coordinator needs to be bit more pro-active. Initial briefing must be done to explain emergency/ safety / general instructions to guests and also undertake some ice-breaker activities.
    – Announcement through speaker/bell should be made when food is about to be served.
-Indoor Activities/ available games need to increased specially during monsoons.
    – Solar lights / emergency lights can be installed as there are power-cuts at night.
    – A big signboard should be put on main road (lot of my fellow campers traveled 2-3km further and came back)
    – Some additional snacks can be sold for extra charges

    – Location Location & Location. The lake water was just 5 feet from my tent.
    – Washrooms were clean and hygienic
    – Tents were really sturdy, rain-proof and clean
    – Food items were basic but tasty
    – Live music and bonfire experience was AMAZING.. I would give additional star for the 2 performers. Simple music under moonlight (thanks to power cut -off) was icing on the cake.

Some general tips for future campers:
    – Dont expect resort experience. Its a camp and there will always be some issue. Its a good experience to bring you out of your comfort zone.
    – Carry torch/umbrella/ additional snacks / board games
    – Please maintain silence during silence hours (1am to 6am) as tents are very close to each other
    – Please clean-up your bottles after a drinking session. Though a civic sense people did throw bottles into lake
    – Arrive early to enjoy the view and of course click more pictures
    – If possible try to get a tent in open air. It will surely give a good tent experience during winds and rain.
    – Avoid wasting food as it takes some additional efforts to prepare it in this remote place

Finally, I would say it is good experience to have with your partner or your gang. Give it a try and I assure you will be coming back to your routine refreshed and relaxed.

Thank you so much for detailed review ! We are very happy that you liked the location and overall experience. We have inverter for light backup but that time many people requested to turn off lights. There were no clouds and moon was bright. There were mostly couples on Camp G that night. Some couples said thanks in the morning for not to turning ON the lights. Also things to carry has been mentioned on website and in WhatsApp message too. Dustbins are kept from place to place but some people don’t use that. We take care of cleaning part after event. Some fellows were lost while travelling to camp G…Actually they took wrong way. They went to tiger point and had to do round trip of lake which is not recommended. Google map and travel guide has been sent in the email but they were unaware of that. It was one group only. Read this to travel easily : https://pawnacamp.com/how-to-reach-pawna-lake-camping . Our two coordinators went to pickup them in the night. They reached campsite within 30 min after reporting that they were lost.

Food starters was too less. Also, there must be light inside tent. Rest everything was perfect. Great service.

We were two couples who stayed for 1 night in August. We had booked camp H but were told a day before that the camp has some issues and so have been upgraded to camp G. Since all camps are nearby I guess it doesn’t make much difference as the whole lakeside and surrounding area is serene. The view, atmosphere & location gets five star. Stay was comfortable and staff was helpful. Tents are good quality. Food quality is OK. They arranged small bonfire and live music. Visit the place to be in lap of nature …worth during monsoons
